Chapter 17.26 TWO-FAMILY RESIDENTIAL (R2) ZONE*
17.26.060 Performance standards.
In the R2 zone, the following performance standards shall apply in addition to any other standards in this title:
E. Exterior lighting shall be shielded or directed in such a manner that direct lighting does not enter into doors or windows of adjoining residences. (Ord. 1872 §3(part), 1987; Ord. 1782 §1(part), 1986).
Chapter 17.28 MULTIPLE-FAMILY RESIDENTIAL (R3) ZONE*
17.28.060 Performance standards.
In the R3 zone, the following performance standards shall apply in addition to any other standards in this title:
C. Exterior lighting shall be shielded in a manner so as not to reflect or shine directly into the windows and doors of adjoining residences;

17.29.060 Performance standards.
In the SP zone, the following performance standards shall apply in addition to any other standards in this title:
C. Exterior lighting shall be shielded and directed in such a manner that it does not directly shine into adjoining residences;

In the RM zone, the following performance standards shall apply in addition to any other standards in this title:
B. Exterior lighting shall be shielded and directed in such a manner that it does not directly shine into adjoining residences;
Chapter 17.34 LOCAL COMMERCIAL (C1) ZONE*

In the C1 zone, the following performance standards shall apply in addition to any other standards in this title:

In the C2 zone, the following performance standards shall apply in addition to any other standards in this title:

C. Exterior lighting shall be shielded and directed in such a manner that it does not directly shine into adjoining residences;
Chapter 17.44 BUSINESS PARK (M4) ZONE*
17.44.060 Performance standards.
C. Exterior lighting shall be shielded and directed in such a manner that it does not directly shine into adjoining residences;
Chapter 17.48 PUBLIC SERVICE (PS) ZONE*
17.48.060 Performance standards.
D. Exterior lighting shall be shielded and directed in such a manner that it does not directly shine into adjoining residences;
Chapter 17.70 PARKING*
17.70.090 Lighting.
Adequate lighting of parking lots and/or facilities is required. All lighting provided in conjunction with parking areas shall be installed, directed, and shielded to confine all direct rays of light within the boundaries of such facilities. (Ord. 2345 §3 Exh. A(part), 1993: Ord. 1809 §1(part), 1986).
Chapter 17.72 SIGNS AND BILLBOARDS*
17.72.080 Illumination.
Unless otherwise established by planned development or design review criteria, signs may be illuminated either directly or indirectly. Illumination shall be shielded or directed so that lighting does not shine or glare into traffic patterns within a parking lot, on a road, or onto adjoining property. (Ord. 1812 §1(part), 1986).
17.72.120 Billboards.
B. Billboards may be illuminated, except that blinking or animated lighting shall not be permitted.
