CHAPTER II :   ZONING REGULATIONS
Article 26.       Signs
Sec. LII 26.4.    Sign Construction Standards
The construction    and placement of all signs shall be     in
accordance with Sections 401 through 402 of the Uniform Sign Code,
and the following:
C.    External lighting must be screened or shielded to preclude light spill into adjacent properties and roadways.

 Sec. LII 26.6.    Prohibited Signs & Sign Materials   In addition to any sign or sign material not specifically in  accordance with the provisions of this Article, the following  signs are expressly prohibited:
1.    Signs that simulate or imitate any traffic control sign  or signal or which makes use of words,  symbols or characters in such manner to interfere with, mislead or  confuse pedestrian and/or vehicular traffic.
2.    Readerboard    signs  unless  otherwise   specifically  permitted herein, and signs consisting of any moving,  rotating,   flashing or   otherwise animated   light or component, except for time and temperature displays and  barber poles.

Article 25.  "Site Plane II
Sec. L-II 25.1.    Required.
   No person shall commence any use and no building permit shall  be  issued  for any structure to be used for or in conjunction with
any use, except as provided for in this chapter, until a site plan covering the parcel or parcels to be used shall be approved as herein provided.

 Sec. LII 25.2.     Contents.
 Such site plan shall specify and    include where applicable:
   I.    Lighting:   location and general nature, hooding devices.

 Sec. LII 26.1.    Purpose
The purpose of this Article is to allow for a reasonable display of signs necessary to provide identification and to assist  in the production of a competitive atmosphere for industry and commerce.   ...
d)    Enhancing the economic values of each environ through  the regulation of size, location and illumination;  and
e)    Attracting and directing people to various activities and enterprises    and providing for the maximuin public convenience; and
f)    Reducing or     eliminating traffic and safety hazards through proper location and design; and
g)    Providing standards for primary and secondary signage.

 Sec. LII 26.4.    Sign Construction Standards
 The construction and placement of all signs shall be in accordance with Sections 401 through 402 of the Uniform Sign Code,  and the following:
A.    When lighted, all internal or external lighted signs shall be illuminated   by  a nonpulsating, continuous, stationary, shielded light source.
B.    Interior illumination shall not exceed 430 watts per lamp.
C.    External lighting must be screened or shielded to preclude light spill into adjacent properties and roadways.

12.   Commercial, Professional and Industrial Center Design Standards:
 b)  The  signing plan shall be of compatible design throughout the center as to size, color, materials,  illumination and location on the building of such  signs.
17.   Readerboards:  Readerboards for charitable or religious organizations or public agencies, provided such signs do  not   exceed  twenty   (20)  square  feet   in area.   Readerboards may be externally illuminated only.

All  artificial illumination provided in connection with such facilities,  shall be installed,  directed  and  shielded  to  confine all direct  rays of artificial light within the boundaries of such facilities.
